Bane's Story
Meet Bane! This 42-pound handsome hunk came to us as an owner surrender along with his dog friend, Keena. Bane has lived with another dog before and is reported to have done well with children. However, he'll need a cat-free home because chasing them is just a little too fun for him! Bane is a smart and curious boy with a bit of an adventurous streak.

If you have a fenced-in yard, it's important to know that he may try to find his way out if the fence isn't tall or secure enough. He'll do best with supervised backyard time to keep those curious paws safe and sound. He'd also enjoy lots of walks with his human friends to get his energy out!

He was crate trained in his previous home and really came to see his crate as a safe space. Because of that, he can feel nervous if strangers approach him while he's in it. He'll do best in a home where he can meet new people outside the crate first, on his own terms. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a clever mind and a loving heart, Bane might just be your perfect match!. If you think Bane might be a match for your family, visit him at the adoptions center Tuesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).

You can also reach our adoptions team:
by email: adoptions@spcaonline.com
by phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221
