Bandita's Story

Bandita has the face of a larger dog, but look again-- she's actually a pint-sized gal of just under 40lbs! This sweetheart is a unique and special pup looking for a family to call her own.

While Bandita came to us from a difficult background, she is as trusting and affectionate as they come. She has great manners and is very eager to please, and is already housebroken. Due to her gentle nature and sweet personality, Bandita would likely be do well in a family with school-aged kids, but really any family size or structure will be just peachy with her as long as she gets loved on! Although she is still young, Bandita is an easygoing gal who enjoys taking time for the little things-- sniffing around the yard, having some treats, and most of all, snuggling with her human friends.

Bandita is generally nervous with other dogs, and might prefer to be the only dog in the home; however, she does not mind sharing space with other dogs who are calm and leave her to do her own thing. As she grows more comfortable seeing and spending time around other dogs at the shelter, she may feel more confident being around them in a home.

If you're looking for a gentle, polite, and loving small/medium-sized canine companion, check out Bandita today!
