Bambina's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bambina!
This adorable Baja mutt was rescued as a singleton pup wandering the streets of Ensenada in early August. She was found by a couple from San Diego who had been traveling in Baja wine country and Bambina happened to cross their path. She was super sweet, scared, and shy, and was seeking food from the winery they had been visiting. They did not want to leave her behind and chose to rescue her. They placed her in boarding at a local vet for quarantine for a couple of weeks and then drove back down to pick her up when it was all clear. Bambina is being fostered by the couple in the north county area of San Diego, along with their resident cats and adult dogs. However, the couple cannot commit to her forever and knew they would have to seek help from a San Diego rescue to take her in. ARWOB was contacted and we agreed to take care of her medical needs as long as they agreed to foster her while we find her a forever family of her own.
This sweet girl is a perfect medium-sized dog. She definitely ADORES humans! However, she may be a little shy when she first meets new people, but the minute they talk to her in “baby talk” or start to pet her, she falls in love and wants nothing more than to be hugged and petted. She can be a bit intimidated by new dogs when she first meets them, but once she spends some time with them, her guard comes down and she relaxes. Once she is comfy, she loves to play fetch and “tag, you’re it!”
Bambina would love to find a forever family of her own, but in the meantime it would be very helpful if we can find a foster family for her. Are you interested in adopting or fostering this gorgeous girl? If so, please contact us or visit us online at www.ARWOB.org.
