Bambi was taken into rescue at roughly two years old, and in that short time people have managed to ruin her trust in them. She needs a home with no small children and a fenced-in yard as well as an owner who is going to continue to work to gain her trust. Bambi acts all big and bad when scared or in her crate, but she can be the biggest love bug in the world as well.<br/><br/>Foster update: Once she settles in she is the sweetest girl. She is full of spunk and kisses but can be spicy about nail trims or being told "no" when she wants to do something so no small kids please. Good with other dogs and cats.<br/><br/>WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. <br/><br/>If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.<br/><br/>Adoption fee of $365 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. <br/><br/>We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
