BamBam's Story
BamBam is a two-year-old, 20-pound, gray Terrier mix who deserves the chance to discover what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished. This gentle girl has had a very rough start in life, and she’s still learning that the world can be a kinder place.

BamBam came from a hoarding situation involving around 20 other dogs, where the animals were living in filthy conditions. She hasn’t had the opportunity to experience the comforts and security that every dog deserves. As a result, the world can still feel like a frightening place for her. But beneath that fear is a sweet girl who is slowly beginning to let her guard down.

BamBam is still very scared, but she’s making progress! Every now and then, she offers a little tail wag, a small but meaningful glimpse of the dog she’s becoming. She has also gotten much better at walking on a leash to the yards. These may seem like little things, but for a dog who is still learning how to navigate everyday life, each step forward is worth celebrating.

BamBam will need a patient, compassionate adopter who understands that trust takes time. She may not be ready to snuggle up on the couch or greet new people with enthusiasm right away, and that’s okay. She needs someone who will allow her to settle in at her own pace, provide a calm and predictable environment, and celebrate every sign of growing confidence. A friendly, well-matched canine companion might also help her learn the ropes and feel more secure.

This sweet girl has already endured so much. With patience and understanding, she will surprise you with just how far she can come. BamBam doesn’t need someone to change her overnight. She just needs someone willing to give her time, kindness, and the chance to learn that she is finally home.

BamBam’s adoption fee is $250, which includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment to meet BamBam. You can also visit Home Fur Good Thursday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during our walk-in hours.
