Bam Bam's Story
Bam Bam is truly doing amazing in foster care and has shown just how much he thrives with structure, routine, and clear expectations. He is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and very motivated by food and treats, making him a joy to train for someone who enjoys working with their dog.

Bam would do best with a single owner, a couple, or a family with older children (middle school age and up). While we havent personally seen him up close with younger kids, he has done well with adults who respect his space and boundaries. With slow, proper introductions, Bam could also do well in a home with another dog.

This is a dog who needs a confident, committed owner, someone willing to continue his training and ideally work with a balanced trainer to help manage some reactivity and resource guarding. Bam needs structure and boundaries, and he does best with a calm, consistent leader who wont let him take advantage but also wont push him beyond his comfort level. He does best when introductions to new people and dogs are slow and thoughtful, and when his boundaries are respected.

Bam Bam is an active guy with tons of energy and a big love for the outdoors. He enjoys swimming, exploring, and having both his body and brain worked. His current routine includes morning walks and training sessions (1530 minutes), structured free and crate time during the day, and evening walks or training sessions lasting 30 minutes to an hour. As long as his brain is engaged, hes quite easy to maintain.

At this time, toys and balls are limited as his foster family continues to build trust around resource guarding, and he is already making progress with this in a slow, positive way.

Bam Bam is not for a first-time dog owner, but for the right person or family, he will be an incredibly loyal, driven, and rewarding companion.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE RESCUE THROUGH PETFINDER, VISIT PITCREW.ORG AND COMPLETE ADOPTION APPLICATION. *All of our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped*
