Bali's Story

Meet Bali!

Just like the beautiful island of the same name, our Bali is a breath of fresh air and a total slice of paradise. This gorgeous girl is 10 months old and currently weighs about 40 pounds. We don’t anticipate her getting much bigger and expect she will likely stay under 50 pounds when fully grown. Without a DNA test we cannot confirm her breed, but we suspect she may be some type of hound mix.

Bali was found roaming the streets of Texas and has been living in a shelter environment since November. While she does her best to stay upbeat, she spends her days dreaming of trading her kennel for a forever spot on someone’s couch. She has so much happiness and love to share — she just needs a person to share it with.

Like any adolescent dog, Bali has joyful energy and is eager to learn. She would thrive with a family committed to continuing her training, socialization, and providing consistent structure. She absolutely loves other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home with a playful canine companion. She has not been formally tested with cats, but with slow and proper introductions, it could be considered. Bali has had limited exposure to children, so a home with older, respectful kids who understand the enthusiasm of a young dog would likely be the best fit.

Bali will flourish in a home that provides both mental and physical stimulation. A yard — ideally fenced — would be wonderful for her to safely explore and stretch her legs. While an apartment may not be her ideal setting, we are open to considering it on a case-by-case basis if her exercise and enrichment needs can be consistently met.

The shelter where Bali is currently staying is severely overcrowded, and dogs like her are at risk simply due to lack of space. She needs a committed, loving family to step forward and give her the second chance she deserves.

Health:
Bali is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. She is healthy, happy, and ready to begin her new adventure.

Information:
All of our dogs, including Bali, are currently located in Texas and will be transported to adopters once adoption is finalized. Transportation is included in the adoption fee. Breed labels are educated guesses based on appearance and shelter records — we encourage adopters to focus on personality, needs, and long-term compatibility rather than breed alone.

MA License #479
