Baldr's Story

Meet Baldr, a charming 7-year-old hound mix. Baldr is around 45lbs and is handsome as can be! Baldr is very chill when he's with people and enjoys going for walks. In his past home it was reported he had separation anxiety and unfortunately, he was left alone a lot and had recently moved, which made it worse. He is looking for a home where someone is home often and can help him build a routine to ease his anxiety. He tends to sniff and ignore other dogs, and can coexist, but does not want to play or engage much with them. He often has a hard time making a good first impression with other dogs, as he just wants to bark at them loudly, which most dogs do not enjoy. We think he would do best in a home as an only dog or possibly with another mellow senior. It was said he lived with a cat in his past home and mostly left them alone, sniffing them occasionally. Baldr is a sweet and low-key dog. He loves to be with people whether it be on a walk or relaxing in the yard. Let's get this sweet senior back into a home!
