Baker

My name is Baker and I have been here since February of 2025. I am a big guy, but I don't have a lot of energy and prefer hanging out inside with my stuffed toys and cozy bed to being outside running around. If you want a couch buddy, I'm your dog! Though, I do enjoy a nice walk and walk nicely on my leash and harness. <br/><br/> I've had some tough times in the past where I was left to fend for myself for a very long time, so I don't like sharing with other dogs, although I don't mind being around them here. Now that I'm not all by myself, I learned I love people and getting pets, treats, and big stuffed toys! I also get to do puzzle toys here, and I'm very good at them, if I do say so myself. Because of my past, I can be a little nervous with new situations and get overwhelmed easily- there is so much that is still new to me- so I think I would like a quieter home with no other dogs and no young kids.
