She’s leading the way. Morning runs? She’ll match your pace. Weekend adventures? She’s already at the door. This is not a couch-potato Shepherd — she thrives when her body and mind are engaged. She wants a family that sees the outdoors as an extension of home and believes the best days are the ones spent moving, exploring, and making memories together.<br/><br/>On leash, Bailey is strong and enthusiastic. She does pull, especially when something exciting catches her attention, but with confident handling and consistent corrections, she listens beautifully. She respects structure and does best with someone who can provide clear leadership. She’s incredibly smart — she just needs someone who can channel that big energy in the right direction.<br/><br/>When playtime starts, Bailey turns into the happiest goofball you’ve ever met. She loves hard, durable toys and has the cutest habit of launching both paws forward to grab and retrieve them like she’s diving for the winning touchdown. She plays hard, commits fully, and makes everything feel like a celebration.<br/><br/>Around people, Bailey is pure sunshine. She has a bubbly, magnetic personality and wants your full attention — and she’s not shy about claiming it. She’ll gently pull your hand toward her kennel or nudge you insistently just to make sure you’re focused on what really matters: her. Despite her strong build and bold presence, she’s a big baby at heart who craves affection and closeness.<br/><br/>Bailey does well with older kids who understand her size and enthusiasm, but she prefers to be the one and only pet in the home. She has shown dominant behavior with other dogs and truly shines when she doesn’t have to share her space or her people. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
