Bailey's Story

Meet Bailey!
2 years old 48 lbs Collie Mix

If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, Bailey is your girl. This 2-year-old Collie mix is equal parts goofy, affectionate, and full of life. She's a joyful whirlwind with a heart of gold who believes every day is the best day ever.

Bailey is the ultimate love bug. If you're sitting down, chances are she'll be right on top of you, soaking up every bit of affection she can get. She's incredibly people-oriented, eager to please, and so smart. Add a few treats, and she's ready to learn just about anything!

Bailey still has plenty of puppy energy and is looking for an active family who will embrace her enthusiasm. After over an hour of running and playing at doggy daycare, she was still ready for more! She'd love a securely fenced yard, regular adventures, and activities that keep both her mind and body busy. This girl would thrive with a "job" to do, whether it's training, hiking, agility, or interactive games.

About Bailey:
2 years old
48 lbs
Spayed
Up to date on vaccinations
Heartworm positive (treatment has already begun)
Smart, food motivated, and eager to please
Friendly with other dogs
Respectful and curious around cats
Wonderful candidate for a home with kids or another playful dog
Crate trained and housetrained

Bailey absolutely loves other dogs and would likely be happiest with a canine playmate. She enjoys having someone to wrestle, chase, and burn energy with, and she'd probably become bored as an only dog without plenty of activity and interaction.

She doesn't spend her time chewing things up, but like many young dogs, she explores the world with her mouth and can be a little mouthy during play. With continued training and consistency, she's already showing all the signs of becoming an incredible companion.

Bailey is searching for an active family that will appreciate her silly personality, embrace her zest for life, and continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be.

If you're looking for a hilarious, affectionate, adventure-loving sidekick who will keep you smiling and always make sure you're never sitting alone, Bailey is ready to meet you.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
