Bailey's Story

Bailey's name could easily be Ball-Ball Bailey. This girl lives for playing ball! She will catch them, chase them and bring them back all day long. She may be older but has energy to spare. The perfect balance of not dealing with puppy craziness but still an active girl ready to learn.
Bailey needs some leash work but is learning quickly not to pull. She is not a fan of car rides and would do best crated or tethered otherwise she thinks in your lap trying to drive is the acceptable spot to be.
She's done fine with teenagers but would not be a match for young kids
She's in her no nonsense, respect my space, but also come sit by me era. Independent one minute... then suddenly she's glued to your side for a quick hit of love.

She would thrive:

*In a home that will direct her energy

*With no young children or thin skinned seniors

*With playful, respectful dogs, she wants to be the boss. (or as your one and only)

*With someone who appreciates a dog with personality.

6 years old, mature and past the chaos. 61 lbs sturdy, grounded, and just right. Fully vetted & heartworm negative Equal parts independent, loyal, and feisty.

Bailey isn't here to entertain the masses—she's here to find her person. Someone who understands that the best companions aren't always the loudest or neediest... sometimes they're the ones quietly sitting beside you, choosing you in their own way. If your home matches her vibe, Bailey is ready to move in and run the place (respectfully, of course).

**Please read the pet's FULL biography before inquiring about it, the location they are fostered in is the first thing you will see.** If you would like to adopt a pet you must fill out a free application on our website and be approved. The pet's foster parent will contact you with any additional questions and if your application is approved a time to meet & adopt the pet. While we do our best to determine the breeds of our dogs, the majority are strays, and we have only general appearance, coat type, size, ear type, tail and coat color to base breed on. It is always possible when adopting a puppy that it will change dramatically to look like another breed.
