Bailey's Story
Bailey is a 4 year old Bulldog/Corgi mix. She is DEAF. Bailey gets along with other dogs and has reportedly lived peacefully with cats and kids. She is 45 pounds and is spayed. Bailey is perfect gem in most all ways! She's housetrained, crate trained, and basically hangs out. She does need some work walking on a leash. What does in mean to have a DEAF dog?? Deaf dogs require special attention and communication strategies due to their inability to hear. Bailey's new owner should always keep her on a leash or in a fenced in yard, utilize hand signals for training, and be mindful not to startle Bailey. Consistent communication, clear visuals, and positive reinforcement are crucial for a deaf dog's well-being and training. Bailey is worth it!
