BASIC FACTS

Breed: Goldendoodle
Color: Tan
Age: 5-7 years
Gender: Female
Size: 22 pounds
House-trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes, but wouldn’t advise (will bark for hours)
Good with Kids: Yes, with respectful children
Good with Dogs: Yes, with proper introduction
Good with Cats: TBD, will test
Concerns: Separation anxiety – barks for hours if not managed, does bark at every sound.

BIOGRAPHY
Bailey is a sweet, adult Goldendoodle (5-7 years old) whose gentle spirit and affectionate personality make it clear she was once deeply cherished. Her foster mom says that she is truly perfect and would thrive at being someone’s center of attention—she has so much love to give and is eager to both share and receive affection.
Bailey was wandering the streets for at least 6 weeks until she was finally captured and taken in by rescue. While the reasons for her time as a stray are uncertain, Bailey’s high anxiety may have played a role. Thankfully, her anxiety has been well managed with over-the-counter additions to her meals and consistent behavioral training. She is resilient, adaptable, and responds beautifully to a caring routine.
Bailey does have episodes of extended barking, especially when left alone or startled by noises. Because of this, she needs a single-family detached home where her vocalizations won’t disturb neighbors. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, and loves car rides and leash walks, especially when she can carry a stick along the way.
Bailey’s ideal adopter will be patient first and foremost, understanding that she may need time to adjust and feel secure. An active lifestyle is important, as Bailey enjoys outdoor adventures and staying engaged. Her adopter should also be familiar with the energetic and sometimes quirky traits common to Goldendoodles, and be ready to embrace her loving, loyal nature.
With patience and understanding, Bailey will reward her adopter with unwavering loyalty, affection, and companionship. She is ready to be the heart of a loving home.
Bailey is current on vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is currently fostering in York, PA and his adoption fee is $400.00.

If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org ***Petfinder/RescueMe inquiries are NOT considered applications and may not be responded to***
