Bailey’s owner had to move into a small apartment adjoining her parents’ home after getting divorced. Bailey is home alone for 8 hours a day and has a lot of energy. The owner does not have the time to adequately take care of Bailey.<br/><br/>Bailey is UTD on her Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella and tested negative for heartworm and other tic born illnesses. She is not spayed.<br/> <br/>Bailey has not been around children much, but she has been fine for the limited times she has been around them. She is now living with another dog, and they do very well together. She is good with cats. <br/><br/>Bailey is the biggest snuggle buddy. She loves to lay under the covers in bed with you at night or while hanging out on the sofa watching a movie. She loves to be loved. She has a very silly goofy behavior and will make you smile. Bailey loves car rides and sticking her nose out the window or will fall asleep for the ride.<br/><br/>Bailey has a suspected diagnosis of idiopathic epilepsy and will have a seizure about every 3-4 weeks, sometimes less often, sometimes more often. The Vets have not been able to figure out what triggers them, but the meds have been helping to lessen the frequency. The owner has taken her for many tests and x-rays since she was diagnosed, and all came back showing she was healthy and inconclusive for helping with seizures. The vet has recommended to take her to a neurologist but unfortunately the owner has not been able to afford it. The seizures last about 30-45seconds she will fall over and paddle her legs and then she will be tired and get up and is very disoriented for the next 15-30mins. Within the hour she is back to her normal self and may just be sleepier and want to rest for the remainder of the evening. She is currently on Phenobarbital, Levetiracetam, Zonisamide. Her medication costs about $90 a month.<br/><br/>If Bailey is left alone for 6-8 hours she will pee inside, but she will go on pee pads. She would do better to find a home where she is not often alone that long.
