Bailey Terrier Mix Matthews, NC

My name is Bailey and I am now 12 years old. I was rescued from a home where our mother was kicked outside in hopes that she would run away. The family no longer wanted her. But being loyal she stayed and had puppies. S.A.F.E. spent a few hours catching all the pups in the litter and mom finally had to be trapped. So we had a rough start to our lives. We were somewhat feral.

All my other litter mates were adopted and I was still waiting for a home. Finally, I found a great home but after a few years my mom got married and returned me to the rescue.

I am doing okay at the rescue but would love my own home where I can get a lot of attention. I am a bit timid around strangers at first but once I learn to trust you I will be your best friend. I am not very interested in children so I would do better in a quiet home without children. I would love a fenced in yard.

Remember I am a senior dog who wants her own forever family.
I will come with senior dog issues but I still love to be petted and loved.
