Bacon's Story
Meet Bacon.

She came to us after living with little to no human interaction, so the world as we know it is completely new to her. The sights, sounds, and routines of home life are all big, scary firsts. In fact, this is her very first time living inside. Because of her past, Bacon is extremely shy and cautious.

Bacon has already started to show us what's possible. She has formed a bond with one of her caregivers and is beginning to learn that humans can be safe and trustworthy. She has also made progress with handling, and her trusted caregiver is now able to take her outside for very short walks.

Bacon will require a home with a secure, physically fenced yard and a calm environment with minimal chaos. She would do best going home with another dog to help her learn how to "dog" and gain confidence.

Bacon isn't looking for perfection; she's looking for patience. If you have a big heart for a dog who just needs someone to believe in her, Bacon might be waiting for you.

Adoption fee sponsored by: Just a Girl Who Loves Dogs
