Babygirl's Story

Babygirl is a beautiful, resilient girl who has been through more than most dogs ever should — yet she’s still nothing but love. She came into rescue with an old, untreated leg injury that had caused her pain for far too long. Our vets determined the kindest option was to amputate, and since then Babygirl has absolutely blossomed.

She moves around confidently, keeps up with the other dogs, and doesn’t let her missing leg slow her down one bit. In fact, she’s happier and more playful now that she’s finally pain-free.

Babygirl loves other dogs, enjoys affection, and has the sweetest, softest temperament. She’s gentle, calm, and so grateful for every bit of love she receives. All she needs now is a family who sees her strength, her beauty, and her heart — not her missing leg.

Forgotten Paws's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between pets and families. It starts with an online application, followed by a review of references and (if applicable) landlord approval. We then arrange a meet-and-greet or home visit to make sure everyone is comfortable. Once approved, adopters sign an adoption agreement, pay an adoption fee (which helps cover vetting and care), and take their new pet home knowing it’s been fully vetted and loved. We’re here to support adopters before, during, and after adoption to set everyone up for success.
