Baby Red, 11-week old Heeler mix puppy in search of active family

One puppy sadly got trapped and died very early, and 2 other siblings have been adopted and are doing great!<br/><br/>Please see our Instagram @bluestarpups for more recent photos of Red!<br/><br/>Red's love language is definitely TOYS and he adores playing, climbing, and doing somersaults! He is living in a foster home in the Sierra Vista area and has been exposed to kids, trucks, chickens, horses and he loves getting picked up and responds by giving big puppy kisses.<br/><br/>He will need a good 20-30 min of exercise and play 2x a day, but is very good in a crate and already sleeping about 7 hours a night! He gently whines to tell you when it's time to go out around 5-6am. His ideal family would be higher energy, active and fun humans. His 2 siblings have both been adopted by Heeler-experienced people who say their pups are adjusting wonderfully to home life. So far he does not get car sick, and his passion for adventure will likely make him a great ride-along dog.<br/><br/>Dad is an Australian Cattle Dog, aka Blue Heeler, and Mom is a white Heeler mix. Both parents are very sweet, approachable, rancher-type dogs who were found living with their pack in an abandoned home. (Unfortunately this situation is fairly common in the southern AZ area.) We are guessing he will be 35-45 pounds full grown.<br/><br/>---<br/><br/>2026 mixed breed puppy adoption fees are $350* and include his licensed vet exam, 2 rounds of deworming, 1st puppy shots, registered microchip, and the remaining will go to cover Mom's and Dad's spay and neuter fees as part of The Last Litter initiative.<br/><br/>He will be contractually required to be neutered by 3-6 months of age through SpaySecure, and we will assist in finding the lowest cost options!<br/><br/>*Please note, we generally follow annual adoption fees of Big Dog Ranch: https://www.bdrr.org/adopt
