Baby Mama and Molly's Story

💛 Molly & Baby Mama , A Story of Survival, Love, and Hope 💛

Some dogs don’t just need a home, they need a second chance at the life they were denied. Molly and her mama are two of those souls.

On Thanksgiving Day 2025, we found a tiny puppy living behind a home whose owners had moved away and left her behind. That puppy is Molly. She wasn’t alone, her mom and other puppies had been there too, but no one knows what happened to the rest of the litter. For two long days, Molly waited… until we finally were able to rescue her mama as well.

Her mom is lovingly called Baby Mama, and the bond between these two is quiet, gentle, and deeply moving. Despite being abandoned, they are trusting, resilient, and full of love.

Baby Mama has done everything asked of her. She has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and ready to start a life where she is cherished instead of forgotten. She is calm, sweet, and devoted the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people and finally feel safe.

Molly, her puppy, is playful, curious, and full of promise. She has had two rounds of puppy vaccinations and will receive her third on January 12th, with one more still to go. She will also need to be spayed and microchipped if not completed before adoption, it will be a condition of her adoption to ensure her future health and safety.

While Molly and Baby Mama do not absolutely have to be adopted together, our hearts hope that someone might open their home to both of them, a family willing to keep this little family intact after everything they’ve endured. Watching them together is a reminder that love survives even the hardest circumstances.

If you’re looking for dogs who will be endlessly grateful, deeply loyal, and truly special, Molly and Baby Mama are waiting for you.

💛 Give them the ending they deserve. 💛

Somebody To The Rescue's Adoption Policy
At Somebody to the Rescue, our adoption process is designed to ensure that each animal is matched with the right family and that both the pet and the adopter are fully prepared for a successful, lifelong relationship. Our adoption process includes the following steps: Application Submission: Potential adopters start by completing an adoption application. The application gathers important information about the adopter’s home, experience with pets, lifestyle, and preferences to help us match them with the right animal. Application Review: Our team reviews all applications to ensure the pet’s needs and the adopter’s expectations align. We may contact the adopter for additional information or clarification to ensure the best fit. Home Visit or Virtual Interview: Depending on the situation, we may conduct a home visit or virtual interview to assess the environment the pet will be living in. This helps us ensure that the home is safe, secure, and appropriate for the specific animal being considered for adoption. Meet and Greet: If the application is approved, we arrange a meet-and-greet between the adopter and the pet. This gives both the adopter and the pet a chance to interact and determine if it’s a good match. For certain animals, we may suggest multiple meet-and-greets to ensure compatibility. Adoption Fee and Agreement: Once a match is made, the adopter is required to sign an adoption agreement, which outlines the responsibilities and expectations for pet care. An adoption fee is also required, which helps cover the cost of medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and other services provided by Somebody to the Rescue. Post-Adoption Support: We offer ongoing support to adopters to ensure a smooth transition. Our team is available to provide advice on pet care, behavior, and training, as well as to answer any questions or concerns that may arise after adoption.
