Baby D6151's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Baby, a precious senior Chihuahua with a heart of gold. Sadly, his human passed away, leaving him with nowhere to go—but this little guy is a true warrior.

Baby would do best in a quieter home. He’s still wary of humans and touch, so he needs someone patient who will let him move at his own pace. He enjoys being close—often curling up under my desk while I work or resting nearby—but he isn’t the type to immediately jump into your lap. With time and consistency, he continues to build trust.

One non negotiable is he needs a doggie friend and no shared walls. He was recently adopted and returned as he showed signs of anxiety when the person went to work. At his foster home he has a ton of snuggle buddies so that is a requirement.

One of Baby’s eyes is cloudy, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He’s doing okay with potty training, though Minnesota weather is definitely not his favorite (understandable!). His future family will need to be consistent with potty breaks, possibly use a belly band, and be prepared to support him as he continues learning. He’s also carrying a little extra weight from the “too many cookies” phase of life, so helping him slim down will be important for his health.

Baby may be a senior, but he still has so much love to give to the right person. Could you be the one to open your heart and home to this gentle soul?Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.
