Baby's Story
Baby had a rough start in life. She came to us at about six months of age from the Oklahoma City animal shelter. She had to be trapped as a stray because she was so terrified out in the world on her own. In the shelter, this sweet pup just shut down and hid in the corner. Shelter workers reached out because rescue transfer was her only hope.

When we first brought Baby home, she would barely look at us and was afraid to even accept a treat. With patience and time, Baby realized she was safe and she could trust us. After her quarantine period she was able to join our other dogs and they are her best teachers. Now baby feels safe and secure and her adorable personality is shining.

She loves to cuddle with you on the bed. She is a willing play partner out in the yard and loves other dogs. She is house trained now and crate trained--going to her crate willingly on request.

Baby has been very nervous about leashes and we think a catch pole was used on her. That would be understandably terrifying. We are teaching her to use a harness so she can learn to happily go for walks.

Baby is still a bit of a work in progress. She needs someone who will commit to continuing her education and socialization. She has come so far and is ready to be a great companion. A home with another friendly/confident buddy dog would suit her best.

Only homes in Tulsa, Oklahoma City or surrounding areas will be considered.
