Baby's Story

Animal Information: Baby aka Baylee aka Baby B is a beautiful young adult female German Shepherd who was found as a stray and since completed her stray hold and is available for adoption. She was initially estimated at appx 4 years old and underweight but as she has settled in and gotten healthy we believe she's likely younger (appx 2 years and 55-60 lbs). Since being fostered with a dog trainer, Baby has learned a lot! She has a strong foundation of basic obedience - sit, stay, and loose leash walking. She also loves to play (fetch, tug, etc.) and this is a really great way for her to get comfortable with new people. While she wants to play with other dogs and currently lives with several, she will need structured introductions to new pack members as well as an owner committed to ongoing training and exposure training. This super gorgeous and fun girl is ready to be a best friend with a little patience and guidance.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application

Animal History: Baby was found as a stray with no collar/tag/chip in Federal Way area on Oct 15, 2025. She was posted as a found stray with the appropriate jurisdiction and posted online but no one was looking for her. She didn't seem to know much in the way of training or have much socialization but luckily she was taken in by a good samaritan who happened to be a dog trainer. She's spent a few months learning the ropes of the good dog life and is now ready for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
