Baby's Story

Hi! My name is Baby! I'm a super sweet tricolor female beagle. I'm about 3 years old. I'm very timid & so I need a home who can work with me to introduce me to new situations. I'm so skittish, that I might run. So I need a home that can take precautions to make sure I stay safe. But I am just the sweetest, gentlest girl! I'm great with other dogs! Nittany Beagle Rescue doesn't know how I am with cats. Are you the right home for me? I'm about 35 lbs. I'm up-to-date on vaccines and will be spayed before I'm adopted. Please think about making me part of your family!

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet. Nittany Beagle Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of beagles, beagle mixes, & hounds in central Pennsylvania. We accept dogs from shelters and from owners who can no longer keep them, and we work to find them loving, permanent homes.
