Baby's Story

Sweet senior Baby has already been through more than any dog should—and all she wants now is a quiet, loving place to finally call home.
Baby was saved from a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles, where her golden years were at risk of ending far too soon. Thankfully, she landed in a caring foster home, and it didn’t take long for her gentle, affectionate personality to shine. Baby bonds deeply with her person and truly thrives on companionship. She would be happiest with someone who works from home or is retired—someone who has the time to be her constant, her comfort, and her safe place.
Despite her age, Baby still finds joy in the simple things: playing with her toys, going for daily walks, and soaking up love from her human. She’s around 10 years old and, according to her vet, a healthy senior with only minor arthritis—just a little stiffness that comes with age. No major medical issues, just a sweet soul who wants to be close to the one she loves.
Baby is smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please. She’s learning better leash manners and trying her best every day. She can be selective with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important—but she would also be perfectly content being the only pet, finally having all the love to herself. Because of her prey drive, she’s not a good fit for homes with cats or small dogs.
This lovely senior girl isn’t asking for much—just stability, patience, and a soft place to land for the rest of her days. If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who will love you completely and unconditionally, Baby is waiting.
Please reach out to Hope for Sweet Homes if you’d like to meet her:
📞 626-483-6936
📧 hope4sweethomes@gmail.com
Baby doesn’t need perfection—she just needs you 💛
