Babu's story is the kind you don't forget. She was found so frail and emaciated that she couldn't even walk, and it was clear she'd been through far more than any dog ever should. Luckily, she was rescued and eventually made her way to us - weak, with sores across her body, but somehow still greeted us with a smile and a wagging tail. <br><br> <br/><br/>From day one, Babu has been friendly with everyone she meets. Even after everything she went through, she's stayed a truly sweet, upbeat girl. She's spent a lot of time in foster care, where she's been the very best houseguest - a cuddler at heart, a fan of cozy time with her temporary family, and always excited for a trip to the park where she can happily carry sticks around. <br><br><br/><br/>Babu is a wonderful girl who will make an amazing companion!<br/><br/>If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match!
