Azriel's Story

Azriel, affectionately known as Azzy by his friends, is a two year old, sweet, loving soul who was given a second chance at life after being rescued from a WV Animal Shelter. He is approximately 70 pounds and what a great foster he has been as he is: house broken, good with people and children, good with the resident cats and good for car rides. He does walk on a leash, but is pulling so that is currently a work in progress. He is currently in a home with multiple dogs, but has taken exception to one unaltered male in the past. The others he has been fine with. Azzy is ready to find a forever home where his big heart can truly shine.
Azzy has a classic Labrador personality — friendly, affectionate, and eager to be close to his people. He loves attention, enjoys companionship, and has a gentle, loving nature that makes him a wonderful family dog. While he can be a bit dog-selective at times, he generally gets along well with other dogs and does best with proper introductions.
We believe Azzy is mostly Labrador, though he has some unique features that set him apart — adorable brindle markings on his feet and the cutest little crooked ear that gives him extra character and charm.
Azriel is a resilient, affectionate boy who’s overcome so much and is ready to give endless love in return. He’s truly a special dog looking for a family who will cherish him as much as he deserves. If interested, please email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com to obtain an application.
