Axol's Story
Axol is 5 yrs old, born 11.18.20 He is very friendly, semi active and super smart. He knows sit, stay, shake and speak. He gets very excited when meeting new people. He is reactive around dogs especially when food is involved, so we avoid that. He cuddles all night and is watchful. He has dreams sometimes and runs in his sleep- which is cute! He LOVES to play fetch and tag. He will grab his toy and run, he wants to you get it while you try to get his toy. He also 'dances' by jumping and twirling for treats. He likes walks/back yard but mostly just likes a quiet night in. He really loves the snow and will frolic even if there is only an inch! He thinks he is 10lbs and will sit on your lap happily. He is good with grooming. He will over drink water so I spread out his water, so he doesn’t get an upset stomach. He will wear shoes and clothes happily and is well behaved when you put them on. My health decline is making it hard to care for him. My seizure scared him really bad. Im about to loose my in home support system so I won't be able to give him the time he deserves. It's best for him.
He has some separation anxiety. He was crate trained and doing fine until we moved and now he hates his crates and barks.
He grew up with cats but recently he met new cats and they didn't like him and scratched his nose so he lunged at them. He continues to be great and even cuddle with our cat though.
He is reactive with dogs/food.
He is house trained, crate trained (working on this again), leash trained, sits, stays, speaks, lays and shakes.
He is very very loved and this decision does not come lightly. If I thought I could keep him and he still had the a good quality of life I would. He is a big cuddler, funny personality and goofy demeanor. He LOVES car rides and fetch!
