Axle's Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,
things could drastically change a month later. Since we don't have a long health history of your
adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam
and follow up exams.~

Health: ***** He came with matted fur that had to be shaved. He had tape worms. No other obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament: Axle is a lot of fun and super easy to care for. He is mostly house trained but will use a potty pad on the floor if he isn't let out a few times a day. And he pees like a girl dog so everything hits the potty pad. He enjoys long walks outside on a leash and he's really good about it. He doesn't bark at anything during the walk nor does he pull on the leash. He's real easy. He's not a picky eater. He does bark outside if left alone for a long time. He likes to sleep in your bed and he likes to roll around in the pillows sometimes knocking them off onto the floor. He's quiet all night long and he will move over if he's sleeping too close to you. He likes to play with toys and likes to fetch balls. He does not crate very well. He will bark inside a crate. He just wants to be with you, that's all. I have not once seen him offer to bite but when I have reached for him in a hurry, he ducks as if I'm going to smack him.

Where did he come from: Owner Surrender - Apparently, he bit someone ONCE after 7 years and they didn't want him after that. I can tell by the way he is head shy, that this boy has been hit many times. He was filled with mats and had to be shaved so that's evidence that he was not a well cared for dog. He was probably left outside a lot all alone.

Adoption: ***** $500.00 *****
Weight: 18.6 lbs.
Approximate age: 10/20/2013

ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application --

Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --

------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.--------
