He has a mellow and happy disposition and enjoys cuddles. He tends to be a quiet and tidy boy who is a fast learner. Axel would love a yard to romp in and play tennis ball fetch - chuck-it required, and shady spots to relax in and chew on his bone. He is a great walker, and really likes to go running with his person on at least a two mile jaunt! Axel also enjoys car rides, water and swimming are also favorites!<br/><br/>Axel's previous owner taught him sit, lay, shake, and he enjoys wearing sweatshirts! Axel is no kids or children due to his resource guarding, toy possession, and we at our facility have learned his boundaries to share with potential adopters. He is dog social with proper introduction of female dogs his size, and also lived with dog savvy cats. He is a great companion.
