He is a 5-year-old (DOB 05/24/2020), 58# Yellow Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd Dog / PitBull mixed boy whose lemon cream coat is soft, and he always has a smile.<br/><br/>***AXEL IS LARGE DOG EXPERIENCE PREFERRED***<br/><br/>Axel is a smart and sweet-natured dog and people are his passion. He has a mellow and happy disposition and enjoys cuddles. He tends to be a quiet and tidy boy who is a fast learner. Axel would love a yard to romp in and play tennis ball fetch, with shady spots to relax and chew on his bone. He is a great walker, and really likes to go running with his person on at least a two mile jaunt! Axel also enjoys car rides, water and swimming are also favorites!<br/><br/>Axel's previous owner taught him sit, lay, shake, and he has lived with children age 13+ who are kind, dog savvy, and sturdy! He is dog social with proper introduction, and also lived with dog savvy cats. He is a great companion and family dog.<br/><br/>Axel does wear a sweatshirt after a chest growth removal surgery. It was noted by the Vet he may have laid on concrete which caused his hair follicles to abscess.
