Axel….. through no fault of his, this guy came back to us after being adopted as a puppy… He was adopted at almost 4 months old and everything was fine… until the resident dog starting going after him. It was no longer safe for Axel to stay there so he came back to us. <br/><br/>Axel is 62# of pure love. The woman that initially adopted him did right by him! She took him to work with her and he regularly went to doggie daycare. He went to our trainer for a weekend and he did great in the play groups! Axel was crate trained at home and has had no accidents while with his temp foster. He loves to sit on laps, give kisses and snuggle. He’s a young guy though and he still loves to play! There weren’t small children or cats in the home he was with so we can’t speak to that but we’ve seen no concerns with children. He enjoys dipping his toes in the swimming pool water and is overall, a well balanced guy. Him coming back to us has everything to do with the older dog in his former home not wanting a friend and nothing to do with Axel. He’s a gem! His adoption fee is waived.
