Meet Axel! Axel is about 3 years old and weighs 36lbs. A DNA test was sent off on him, but we are awaiting the results. Axel came into Ruff Love extremely scared and shut down. It took a while in his foster home for him to come around. He also seems to trust men much faster than he trusts women. Axel's foster parents worked with him and he has come a long way. He can still be nervous at first and will need someone who is experienced with herding dogs/herding dog behavior. He also needs to be in a child free home. He is very affectionate once he trust you and wants to be with his person at all times. He needs an experienced handler that understands herding breeds, will make him earn everything, and be consistent with training throughout his life to help him be the best boy he can be! Axel is completely vetted, house trained, and great with dogs and cats!<br/>Adoption donation- $300
