Axel's Story

We saved Axel on his euthanasia date and he ended up being such an incredible loving and sweet dog. However, we quickly found out that Axel needed life saving bladder stone surgery. He had a bladder stone the size of a tennis ball! We got Axel all fixed up and now he's ready for a home! He gets along very well with other dogs and he loves to snuggle on the couch and sniff around outside in the backyard. This gentle boy is 60 pounds and would make th perfect family dog!

Let's Rescue Dogs's Adoption Policy

The first step in the process is to apply for the dog you are interested in on our website, www.letsrescuedogs.net If approved, you will be contacted via email. You will be required to submit a virtual home check by recording a clear video of where your new pet will eat, sleep, play and your backyard if applicable. If your home check approved, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview to go over any questions and/or concerns you may have and to schedule a day and time for a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you may take the dog home for a 7 day adoption trial. If you feel the dog is still a great fit after the trial, the adoption is finalized by signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee which includes the dogs spay/neuter, microchip, and core vaccines.
