He's an outgoing boy who enjoys being around people and is always ready to be part of the action.<br/><br/>Axel is smart and eager to learn. He already knows sit, heel (on leash), stay, and come very well, and he's currently working on commands like leave it and look. He's food-motivated and attentive, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He listens well and thrives with guidance and structure.<br/><br/>Axel is house-trained and crate-trained, making him a great addition to a home ready for an active companion. He has a good energy level and would love a family who enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing his training. While he's affectionate and loyal, he's not a fan of being carried and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground.<br/><br/>With his intelligence, friendly nature, and striking ears, Axel will make a wonderful family pet and a devoted best friend.<br/><br/>The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
