She currently lives with two other dogs, sharing her toys and food without any guarding issues. She's always ready for a game or some attention and has a big personality! Avril might even “tell you stories” with her expressive nature, adding some extra fun to your life.<br/><br/>When it comes to walks, Avril does best with a halti, she is reactive to other dogs on leash. With proper handling, she recovers quickly and moves on, making her an excellent jogging buddy. In fact, she is less reactive when jogging, which makes her a perfect companion for active individuals or families.<br/><br/>Since Avril has a strong prey drive and no reliable recall, off-leash time isn’t an option, but she’ll thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where she can safely play. While she’s great with her current dog pack at home, her interactions with other dogs when outside the house and small animals need to be managed carefully.<br/><br/>PAWS will provide support and training to help with her leash reactivity.
