Avocado's Story

?Meet Avocado? Avocado is a 2 year old Pitbull mix. She is looking for a home! Avocado is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and spayed. She is ready to go home! We don't know much about Avocado's past, but she is such a sweetheart. She is high energy and has a very puppy-like personality. She is nervous of new situations and doesn't seem to have much experience, but she is very patient and communicates with her people well. She just needs understanding and time to realize new things aren't so scary! She loves people and playtime. We haven't introduced her to any other dogs, but she's not a fan of them through the kennels. If you are interested in her and have another dog, we'd be able to have a meet-and-greet! Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
