AVI's Story

AVI is in Halifax / Nova Scotia and is looking for a new home. She is approx 3.5 years young, spayed, microchipped and all vaccines are up to date.

A few words from her current home:

“Avi came to us from RDL-C in 2022. We drove to Montreal from our home in Halifax, and rescued her as well as two of her siblings, and brought them back to Nova Scotia. The two other puppies were adopted by a friend in Cape Breton.

Our time with Avi has been both wonderful and difficult. She is highly reactive and anxious in many situations, but is also tremendously dedicated and loving with those who she knows.

The primary challenge comes with guarding the home and letting new people into the pack, but with the right situation she has tons of potential to improve and thrive. We can add more detail when it is appropriate.”

AVI would not be needing a new home if the couple didn’t recently welcome a new baby as they truly do love her very much. Unfortunately this has made it more difficult for them to manage her needs while also caring for the baby.

AVI will need an experienced and dedicated home where she can get proper training, learn boundaries and routine. No children, a calm experienced and stable home will work best.

She’s a very sweet girl and in the right home, she will flourish and give back so much.

Email us:
RescueDogsLebanonCanada@gmail.com
