Avery

Hi! My name is Avery and I am a petite 5-6 month old border collie. Despite my small size, I have a big personality. True to my border collie breed, I am very loyal to my person, extremely smart, high energy and intense. I have a tendency to "nip" when I get excited, so a home without small/young children would be best (kids over 13 yr are ok). I am good with other dogs and very respectful of cats. My energy and drive would make me an excellent hiking, running and biking buddy. I would also excel at doggy sports like flyball and agility (and would probably be really good at herding sheep). I have a great "off switch". After a nice jog I'm ready to snuggle down beside you. I am doing really well with my house-training and only have a few "accidents" now and then.
