Avalina & Atzey

This sweet mom was dumped with her only puppy in a high kill shelter . We have no idea what happened with the other puppies . <br/><br/>Holding tight on each other waiting for their death ... their time was up ... the locks of the kennels were going open and the killing started . <br/><br/>Luckily we had that day boots on the ground and they saw our transporter coming . The kennels of the dogs we tagged for that day were blocked by our volunteers and it save their lives on the second . That day we saved 7 lives out of the shelter . <br/>Mom and pup are extreme close and for this reason , we only adopt then out together . <br/><br/>Puppy Atzey is 5 months old and mom Avalina around 2 years . <br/><br/>They are in foster care in Huntington NY . <br/><br/>The mother is good with people but very protective over her pup with other dogs around .
