Ava's Story

Meet Ava — The Perfect Dog for Busy Families

Ava is a 7‑year‑old sweetheart who makes life easy in all the best ways. If you’ve been wanting a family dog but worry you don’t have the time for puppy training or constant supervision, Ava is exactly the kind of companion you’re looking for. She already knows the household basics, settles quickly into routines, and is wonderfully trustworthy when left alone. She’s fully potty trained and will happily nap the hours away until her people return.

Even with her calm, mature demeanor, Ava still has plenty of playful energy. She loves tug‑of‑war, enjoys a good game of fetch, and lights up when she gets attention from her humans. She doesn’t demand much, but she absolutely cherishes the affection she receives.

On walks, Ava prefers to move at her own pace. At about 60 lbs, she’ll need a handler who can guide her gently and confidently. She adores children and is generous with her kisses, but because she’s on a hydrolyzed protein diet for food allergies, she may do best with older kids who understand she can’t have table scraps.

Ava must be the only dog in the home, and her experience with cats is unknown.

This loving, loyal couch potato is ready to claim your lap — and your heart — as her own. She’s the kind of dog who brings warmth, comfort, and companionship to every day.
