Autumn's Story
Female
7 weeks old
Husky/Shepherd Mix
Will be fully vaccinated/microchipped/spayed by Animal Care Zone at our chosen vet
Will be medium-large size when fully grown
A home with no children under 8 required

Hello my human friends! My name is Autumn, I was born up North and recently made the big trip down to the city!

During my first few weeks in my foster house, I have really come out of my shell and started to show off the beginnings of my personality and my confidence. One of my favourite things is playing with my stuffed toys and my ball… it's just so fun to play fetch and wrestle my stuffies! I wake up with lots of energy, and love to play with my foster family. This is the perfect time to run around chasing my toys, playing with my cat foster brother (or at least I think we are playing hehe!), and sniffing everything around the house! After a fun play session, I have to admit I get pretty sleepy. There is nothing I love more than cuddling in my foster parents arms, right next to them on the couch, or in my crate! I have been very cuddly since the moment I got to the city. I just love to snuggle and nuzzle my face somewhere dark and warm. After some shut eye, you guessed it... back to play!

I am still getting used to the crate, and sometimes get a little sad when I can’t be around my humans. I will need help spending more time in my crate, but as I get older and with your help, I know I will become more confident and independent!

My foster parents say I'm the smartest puppy they have met! I have already mastered fetch, and am slowly getting better at walking on a leash! Most impressively, I am sooo good at going potty in my pee-pads or outside, I just need someone to take me out often since I am still quite little! I love meeting new people on walks so I'll try to run up to them and give them some kisses or snuggles. Sometimes I also get tired so I'll lay down, but I know when I get bigger and with puppy training, I will master leash walking and potty training in no time as well.

I am still a baby so I have not yet played with other dogs, but I love looking at them when they walk by, and I get very curious when I see one! I have quickly gotten used to the hustle and bustle of the city, and am not afraid of the sounds it comes with.

I'm super excited to grow and develop my personality with my new family. Will it be you?

To apply to adopt, go to https://www.animalcarezone.org/adoptables
