Auto's Story

✨ FOSTER NEEDED FOR AUTO ✨ (Eligible for adoption in Arizona and Illinois)

Auto just lost his home 😔 and needs a soft place to land. He’s a 5½-year-old Chihuahua mix who loves blankets, laps, squeaky toys, and staying warm.

About Auto:
• Male, smooth-coat Chihuahua mix
• Good with small dogs
• Kids & men: good once he warms up
• Not crate trained, but doggy-door & leash trained
• Dislikes: cold weather
• Fun fact: Always looking for a blanket or a lap!

Ideal Home:
A home with a yard and someone who appreciates a little snuggle buddy.

If you can foster this sweet guy, please reach out — Auto deserves to feel safe again. 💛🐾

He is a standard golden Chihuahua.
He is good with my dog who is a little bit bigger than him. But, you have to establish the hierarchy in the home. I don’t know if he’s good with cats because we don’t have one. With little kids, he has snarled at them. He’s good with my teenager. He’s great with my husband. He’s great with me.
He’s potty trained and will bark and go to the door when he needs to go out. I don’t know if he would be good as an apartment dog because some folks will not walk him. But if they’re willing to take him out for three walks a day so he can do his business outside, he can live in an apartment. I think he would do very well with the doggie door, but we don’t have one. He’s very low-key and likes to lay on the couch next to me or my husband. He snuggles under blankets. He follows me everywhere. He’s a bit of a Velcro dog. He’s very playful and likes to play chase, fetch, and enjoys playing with his stuffed animals by himself.
There I’ve only been a few times when he has come off spicy. I think it’s when he’s trying to be protective of himself. You can’t blame him because he’s in a new place and unsure. He relaxed very quickly… Within a day. And as time goes by, he gets more and more relaxed. He shook for the first day, but he relaxed after that.
He loves pets and snuggles. He gives kisses. He’s very affectionate and sweet.

https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code
