Now this handsome boy is ready for a forever family to share his love with.<br/><br/>Austin’s favorite activities? Pretty much anything from zooming around the yard, chasing toys, playing with his doggy friends to curling up with his head in your lap once he’s tuckered out. He’s also gentle with kids and cat-friendly, making him a great addition to a variety of home environments.<br/><br/>Austin is a quick learner having already mastered the basics, he is crate trained, walks beautifully on the leash, and housebroken.—Austin is a quick learner with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. Austin is ready and waiting to make your home his own!<br/><br/>Special Note: This puppy has been diagnosed with congenital megaesophagus (ME). This is a lifelong condition where the esophagus doesn’t move food to the stomach normally. Because of this, they will require lifelong medication and must follow a special feeding routine - eating in an upright position to help food and water go down safely. While it takes commitment, puppies with ME can still live happy, playful lives with families willing to give them a little extra care.<br/><br/>Austin is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.<br/><br/>**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
