AURORA (cc#7192)'s Story
We named her Aurora, and her pictures say it all. Aurora, a young adult female with a sweet disposition, is a beautiful Husky with beautiful colors. Found as a stray, we were all surprised when no one came looking for her. Everyday we learn a little more about our beautiful Aurora, .....but one thing we know for sure - Aurora's a real sweetheart, and Aurora really loves the snow!!!

Found as astray, we know little about her background, but we're learning more about Aurora every day. The town's vet was in. He updated Aurora's Rabies Vaccination, and his Rabies Vaccination Certificate indicates Aurora is about 4 years old. Then Aurora went to the WOAWL's vet who thought she was closer to 2, maybe 3 years old. They updated Aurora's Distemper and Bordetella Vaccinations, tested her for Heartworm and Lyme Disease - Both tests were Negative; as were her Fecal/Giardia tests. Bravecto was applied to make sure there weren't any fleas hitching a ride. We were pleased to hear they found a spay scar and a tattoo indicating Aurora was already spayed.

Now Aurora is ready for adoption..... Just like most Husky's, Aurora is a high energy dog and would do best with a family with a big yard, or a family that enjoys hiking and/or long daily walks.

If you would like more information just give us a call - 973-736-8689. Or better yet, speak with a West Orange Animal Control officer. They can answer any questions regarding Aurora that you may have. West Orange Animal Control can be reached at 973-325-4121. And.... If you would like to meet Aurora, the animal control facility (311 Watchung Avenue, West Orange) is open Monday through Friday, 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Animal Control can also make an appointment to meet you at the shelter earlier in the day.

.........
