AURELIA's Story
Meet Aurelia—a gorgeous black Lab mix who wandered in as a stray with no chip and no way for us to contact a possible family. Her finder brought her to us hoping someone would come forward, but when no one did, this sweet girl officially became ready for a fresh start ? Estimated to be 3 years old, Aurelia has been a total superstar during her medical and behavior exams. If we handed out stickers for good behavior, she’d have an entire wall full of them—so instead, she gets treats galore for being such a polite, gentle soul! ???? Because she arrived as a stray, we only know what we’ve learned from her time here—and so far, we adore her! She met our greeter dog (a similar-sized female) and was wonderfully respectful: a little shy at first, but calm, appropriate, and happy to exchange the universal “sniff test.” With a bit of time, the tail wags came out, and she relaxed into her new friendship. Aurelia is now ready to leave her stray days behind and step into family life where she can thrive. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion with a gentle heart, come meet her in person—we think you’ll fall in love. ?? We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for everyone! And don’t forget the 3–3–3 Rule when bringing home a new pet: ?? 3 days to decompress ?? 3 weeks to learn the routine and start bonding ?? 3 months to feel fully at home and show their true personality A311454 — Aurelia ?? 3 years old • Spayed female • 52.10 lbs • Microchipped • UTD on vaccines & preventatives
