Aunt Bea's Story
If any Mama should receive the #1 Mother of the Year Award it should be Aunt Bea! This poor dog lived 3 months in an apartment complex parking lot and no one cared enough to take her in. Then she had puppies and someone called for help. She and her family of adorable 8 puppies were pulled from a wet and smelly sewer drain on Super bowl Sunday. So it is no surprise that mama is a bit shy and unsure. Due to this insecurity she takes a minute to warm up to you. Once she does she melts. She attaches and relies on you in a loving way. She is very playful with doggy toys, and her personality is mellow. We guesstimate her age between 2-3 years old. She is actually very beautiful and her loyalty to her pups was admirable. Her puppies have all been weaned, and she has been spayed and is looking for her very own forever home. If any dog deserves one she rightly does.
Her adoption fee is $350 and includes spay, shots and microchip., that fee also helps save another dog in need.
If you are interested in adopting Aunt Bea, please go to Haltrescue.org, click on "Adopt" to complete an application.
If you are interested in setting up a meet & greet, please send an email to Haltrescue@gmail.com and put Aunt Bea in the subject line.
