Augustus is shy, but very polite. He has great manners and has definitely covered all the basics of puppy training. Augustus is from a foster home in the south where he enjoyed helping with farm chores. Augustus walks nicely on a leash. He likes to have stuffed toys near him. His favorite places to chill out are under a table or in a crate near the people. He likes to chew knuckle bones.<br/><br/>After getting to know Augustus for a few days, it turns out that he feels most comfortable and learns best in a household with other dogs. My dogs are helping him learn the routine. Having them here to play with is helping him come out of his shell. He has great manners, but is very shy. A combination of patience and calm voices from the people in the house, along with friendly dogs to play and learn with, is helping Augustus learn the ropes. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $450. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $275. Our adoption fee for bonded adult dogs is $550.<br/><br/>*Please note that all breeds noted are estimates or best guesses.
