August's Story
August is a stunning 1 to 2 year old, 46 lb, female, black Lab mix with a heart of gold. Sadly, August was recently abandoned by her previous owner and brought to our rescue. Despite all all of this she hasn't lost an ounce of faith in people. She is friendly to everyone she meets. During her time with us, we've discovered she walks beautifully and is excellent on lead. She also loves to play ball, showing off her classic Lab enthusiasm, and already knows a couple basic commands. August has been spayed and brought current on vaccines. She is healthy, happy and patiently waiting for a family who wuill promise to never leave her behind again.
