Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate!<br/><br/><br/>Auggie is an adorable 5 yr old, 16 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. This is Chihuahua personality with the good looks of a Pug. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! Auggie likes to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained when on a schedule. He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention.
