Audria's Story

Meet Audria!

She came to us from one of our rescue partners in Texas. She was pulled from a property where they lived outside with her mom and 3 other siblings. I've included pictures of the mom. She was 24lbs pom/Eskimo mix. Dad is unknown.

We will post more about her personality and temperament as we learn about her.

Audria is guessed to be about 8 months old and 22lbs. We have her spay scheduled at our partner vet in Cedar Lake, IN. Adopter must be willing to drive to and from the vet for her surgery in a couple of weeks. She will get her microchip at that time.

Adoption Process:

- please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application

- one of our team members will get back to you.

- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.

- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.

-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

About Us:
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release.
